Paris, 1985, Titus was founded by brothers Hervé and Eric Caen. The company develops a number of high quality games on all formats including Nintendo GameBoy, Color GameBoy, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, PC and Macintosh. *October 1996. Titus Interactive was listed on the French stock exchange, OTC section. *July 1997, Titus moved into "Le Nouveau Marché" (TITP.LN) (Sicovam 5012). *1998, in order to extend its developement and publishing activities, TITUS acquired Digital Integration in London, a studio specialized in PC flight simulation games, and, BlueSky Software in Los Angeles specialized in PlayStation games. *1999, Titus now owns a majority interest in Interplay Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ: IPLY), one of the most popular PC games developer and publisher. *October 1999, Following the majority investment in US games publisher Interplay, who in February 1999 acquired 43.9% of Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Titus has now agreed to acquire an additional 50.1% of the publisher and distributor Virgin Interactive Entertainment.With these acquisitions, Titus currently consists of 700 employees among them 550 programmers, designers and artists. Through direct distribution, outside distributors and license agreements, Titus has established an extensive distribution network and a strong presence over the years. Titus sells its products in the U.S. and over 30 countries in Europe and Asia. Titus has offices in Paris, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London. Titus success comes from the company's strongfocus on the cornerstone of every title it produces: qualitygameplay content and a strong marketing and commercial force. As a result, Titus enjoys a reputation for establishing and maintaining a high level of both creative and technical excellence.
