Through wholly owned subsidiaries in the United States, Europe and Asia, Namco is advancing its fully integrated activities from development, production, marketing and arcade operations on a global scale. Namco America Inc. manufactures and markets arcade machines. Its activities extend from the United States to Canada and throughout Latin America. Namco Hometek Inc., a publisher of home videogame software with staff in both the United States and Japan, works to develop titles which appeal to American and European consumers.
Namco Cybertainment Inc. manages a network of approximately 500 amusement arcades in 48 of the 50 states in the United States. Namco Holding Corp. oversees the activities of Namco's other subsidiaries in the United States and manages Namco's intellectual property rights in the United States. Namco Europe Ltd. markets amusement machines not only in Europe but also throughout the Middle East and Africa. We have expanded our production capacity to the highest level in Europe with the 1996 addition of a factory in Ireland to supplement our factory in England. Namco Operations Europe Ltd. operates amusement arcades in the United Kingdom, and through its subsidiaries in France, Germany, Spain and Israel. Namco is aggressively exporting amusement machines throughout Asia and Oceania and also operates amusement facilities through its subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
