The specialized game developer, Phantagram Ltd. was founded in June 1994 based upon the game development team New Age, which was formed in 1987.After forming the team in 1987, New Age kept developing games, and finally founded the game development company Phantagram.
Phantagram did not stop at being just a game developer, but in order to be a game publisher it became a joint-stock corporation on April 1, 1996. After becoming Phantagram Ltd., it established branch offices in USA and UK to pioneer international markets. Currently, Phantagram is under development of the real-time strategy game, Kingdom Under Fire, and Full 3D polygon game, Shining Lore. One of four largest game publishers, Gathering of Developers acquired copyright of Kingdom under Fire for North America on January 17, 2000. Right now, although Phantagram Ltd is not yet famous worldwide, it is the most respected game developer in Korea. However, Phantagram will not stop until it becomes the renowned company in the world. |
