TDK Mediactive, Inc. is a recently formed California corporation. On September 11, 2000 TDK USA Corporation acquired a majority stock interest in Sound Source Interactive, a leading publisher of children's software. Sound Source subsequently changed its name to TDK Mediactive, Inc. We are the North American publishing and distribution arm of TDK Corporation's new worldwide consumer interactive software division, with worldwide headquarters located in Calabasas, CA.
Since 1992, Sound Source Interactive (now TDK Mediactive, Inc.) has been a high quality publisher of family-oriented interactive software for personal computers and console systems. The company is a comprehensive software studio, producing an expanding list of award-winning products based on licensed content derived from popular children's literature, major motion pictures, video franchises and long-standing television programs. The company has exclusive licenses with Universal Studios, The Harvey Entertainment Co., 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema, Signatures Network and others. Going forward, the company will focus on developing, producing and marketing family entertainment video games. The 2001 business plan includes the development of a number of proprietory titles as well as license-based titles. |
