In confirmation of reports from several media outlets that publisher ASC Games is closing its doors for good today, a confidential source told the Adrenaline Vault that the company is "in a state of transition." A report emerged Thursday through GameWEEK that CEO Steven Grossman called a company meeting and stunned his employees, telling them, As of this Friday ASC Games is no more.The group was then told to bundle up their things and prepare for departure.

Whatever is happening today at the Darien, Connecticut company, things will never be the same, though the Adrenaline Vault has learned that the titles on ASC Games' production slate, which include the 3D action game Werewolf: The Apocalypse for the PC, will be still released, and that its Jeff Gordon and TNN Motorsports licenses sold. ASC Games was formed in 1992 and established itself on the Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. The company's most notable 16-bit title was TNN Bass Tournament of Champions.
