This game lets you play as all 31 NFL teams and legendary teams of years past, and delivers authentic NFL emotion and hard-hitting action. Taking you beyond the broadcast, Madden NFL 2002 lets you play in exhibition, season, playoff, two-minute drill, and tournament modes. You can also play in franchise mode, where you take complete control of the team in your quest for NFL glory. Other features include classic mode, where you can relive the golden days of Madden NFL '93 with the gameplay style that brought the Madden series its fame. New Madden Cards now feature cheerleaders, and the all-new training mode allows you to learn the X's and O's from John Madden on his telestrator while you perfect in-game skills. You can also now track your players' intensity levels with the Madden Meter. The new
kick meter challenges the user with skill-based kicking. Defensive mode and head-to-head play have been added to the two-minute drill, and you can repeat any play as a do-over with the new mulligan feature.
